Before studying with Gwen Conley I'd worked many years on Broadway and traveled with various artists singing background vocals.  Now that I am a student of Gwen's I am learning to use my vocal instrument with more confidence and it sounds better everyday. I wanted to learn R&B. I needed singing training to learn R&B soul.  I also needed my accent worked on for singing R&B. I am getting more confidence when I work with Ms. Gwen. Gwen thrilled to the sound of 2 encores in a 2-week appearance as opening act for James Brown and his famous band headed by, "Maceo", at the world famous Apollo Theatre.	Performing regularly and touring with the Cincinnati Symphony Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Carmen DeLeone, assistant conductor of Cinti. Symphony Orchestra.  "Regular perfomances are imperative in developing solid performance skills."  This is a special point that she stresses with her voice students.
